Cathedral City Spreadable Recipes

What You Do... Pre-heat oven to 200F/180C/Gas 6 Fill a large pan with water, add salt and bring to the boil. Add the butter to a deep pan and melt on a medium heat. When bubbling, add the garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the thyme and fry for 1 minute, then toss in the flour. Mix everything together then add the milk a little at a time, whisking until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Add Cathedral City Spreadable Mature and whisk into the mix. Toss the pasta into the boiling water and cook according to packet instructions. Once cooked, drain and pour the pasta into the cheese sauce and stir. Tip everything into the oven dish and bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is crispy and golden. Serve straightaway with a fresh green salad.

What you need.. 8 large eggs 1 tbsp semi skimmed milk 1 tub Cathedral City Spreadable Mature Salt and pepper 15g salted butter 4 English muffins 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

What You Do... In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. Season with a little salt and pepper. Add the whole tub of Cathedral City Spreadable and beat to mix. Don’t worry if the cheese doesn’t mix in completely as the remaining lumps will melt during cooking. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat and then add the cheesy eggs. Stir the mix constantly until evenly cooked and a little sticky, remove from the heat. Toast the muffins and divide the eggs between them and sprinkle with chives. Add a dash more pepper and serve.
