There’s More To Taste What makes Lavazza coffee so special? Expert Blending The essence of Lavazza coffee and its essential Italian spirit lie in the blending of the coffee beans. The coffee beans are carefully selected by size, shape and appearance and then blended using either 100% Arabica for a richer and more fragrant taste, or mixed with Robusta for a fuller-bodied and more intense coffee. At each stage, Lavazza’s expert ‘cuppers’ test each blend to ensure its integrity is maintained. Perfect Roasting After the blending the next stage is roasting; Lavazza uses convection technology, which ensures a more uniform roast, plus optimum flavour and fragrance. Once extracted from the roaster, the beans are quickly brought back to room temperature to ensure the taste and aromas are ‘locked-in’.
Even Grinding Finally Lavazza uses state of the art laser technology to ensure a totally uniform bean grind which ensures a perfectly balanced coffee.
